IMPORTANT:
- Barbeques are designed for outdoor use only
- Check local Fire regulations for applicable installation or use
bilaws
- Barbeques must be installed on firm base capable of supporting
unit weight
- Should not be installed on wooden decks
- Cement or mortar finish is recommended
- Follow instructions provided with unit
Check
local fire
regulations for allowable distance from building structures
and trees
Where there are no regulations, we recommend a
minimum distance of 6 Meters from any tree or building to the the chimney
outlet. Also included with your Zefirro Barbeque is a front and Chimney Spark
arrester, these are included to keep sparks/burning embers from leaving the
firebox. Check with you
local fire marshal for local regulations
Assemble barbeque on a solid, reinforced base
Zefirro barbeques are very stable but
must have a solid foundation and a cement or properly installed interlocking
stone is recomended. Unstable locations such as grass or patio stones
WILL
cause unit to become unstable. This situation could pose a risk due to tipping
and could damage the location and persons around it should it not be able to
stand firmly. The manufacture is not responsible for damage to location or
persons due to improper installation or poor location structure. Zefirro
Barbeques are not to be installed on wooden decks.
Assembly
Follow instructions included with
barbeque as each unit will have a slightly different order. Assure that the
reinforced base you are assembling your Barbeque unit on is level and that each
component assembled is leveled as you build. This can be achieved with cement.
Carefully disassemble your the pallet and protective coverings that the unit was
shipped in assuring that when you remove strapping, a component does not fall
away from the pallet. Assemble components in numerical sequence as identified in
the instructions with each component being leveled as you build. Once your
Barbeque is completely assembled, we recommend you fill any imperfections with
the sealing paint provided and then completely seal the unit with sealing paint
provided.
Stone effect Table Tops
If your unit comes with a stone effect
table top, it is important to prepare and seal the top to keep it from absorbing
elements from barbequing or the elements (water stains, bird droppings etc.).
Once final assembly is complete and Stone Effect table tops are installed and
completely dry, thoroughly clean top with steel wool, dust off and apply first
coat of sealing compound (fluid provided) with a paint brush or dry cloth. Once
first coat is completely dry, re-apply second coat for polished effect. Sealing
compound should be applied at the start of every season.
